I visit my family a lot, ok. They all live out in the countryside so it’s the perfect environment to take my camera and just experiment, which is why so much of my stuff is from there. That said, this family is different than the one from the shots before, so take that as some variation.
That said most of the shots are of nature, with a bit of a rainy over text to get that traditional British feel. To be fair, the overcast whether actually led to a lot of colour pop where the sun would have otherwise softened things, so for the flowers especially it created a good shot. The lava lamp was something I found lying around, as was the dog. I kid, that dog is mine and regardless of how average that shot is she’s definitely going in somewhere.
Sometimes you have to go to their level to get a good view
This face on is dying a little, but with the overcast weather the colours came out well enough.
Found this in one of the bedrooms, I figured the lighting would make a good shot.
I love the face on spiral effect this has, and I actually feel I got the focus right.
These are cute as anything. They’re like little fairy hats or something.
I took a few before it rained, but they didn’t compare to the effect with a little water in there.
Rain refracts the colour of pansies in a weird way, make odd coloured droplets
I get this is literally just greenery, but the green really pops for me.
More spider webs, this time with added water.
Again literally more just greenery (purplery?) but the colour really stands out.
